No experience and no equipment are both fine. SWAG has 10 complete loan sets and regular members who will help you learn the basics before you get into the games.

Your first day, without the mystery.
Tell us you're coming, arrive with sensible outdoor clothing, and we'll walk you through the rest.
Arrive & get set up
We'll sort your gear, explain the field and cover the safety rules before play starts.
Learn the basics
You'll get practical help with using the replica, moving safely and understanding how our games work.
Play
Join the group and get involved. Regular players are encouraged to help newcomers find their feet.
WHAT YOU NEED
We can cover the expensive stuff.
- Wear sturdy footwear suitable for uneven forest ground
- Wear long sleeves and long trousers you don't mind getting dirty
- Bring water and food for the day
- Bring weather-appropriate layers
Need gear? Our $30 game-day option includes an airsoft gun, eye/face protection and gloves. We have 10 loan sets, so contact us before your first visit.

AGE & SAFETY
Players are 16+.
Airsoft replicas are airguns under New Zealand law. Players aged 16–17 need to meet the applicable firearms-licence or immediate-supervision requirements. SWAG will also brief you on the club's safety rules before play.
Eye/face protection is part of the loan kit, and safe handling applies throughout the day. If you're unsure about anything before coming, email us and ask.
